अचोद्यमानानि यथा, पुष्पाणि फलानि च|
स्वं कालं नातिवर्तन्ते, तथा कर्म पुरा कृतम्||

जैसे फूल और फल बिना किसी की प्रेरणा से स्वतः समय पर प्रकट हो जाते हैं और समय का अतिक्रमण नहीं करते, उसी प्रकार पहले किये कर्म भी यथासमय ही अपने फल (अच्छे या बुरे) देते हैं| अर्थात् कर्मों का फल अनिवार्य रूप से प्राप्त होता है|

Just as flowers and fruits
appear at their own time without anyone’s inspiration and do not transcend time, similarly the actions done earlier also give their results (good or bad) at the right time.  That is, one inevitably gets the fruits of one’s actions.
