वैदिक सुविचार

ओ३म् स्वस्ति पन्थामनु चरेम सूर्याचन्द्रमसाविव।
पुनर्ददताघ्नता जानता सं गमेमहि॥

ऋग्वेद-१०.३६.३

हे परमात्मन्! हम लोग सूर्य और चंद्रमा की तरह कल्याण मार्ग के अनुगामी हों | हम सभी विद्या तथा द्रव्य का दान करें और श्रम यानि लोगों की सेवा करे और अहिंसक व्रत का विधि पूर्वक पालन करे। (सब प्रकार से, सभी काल में, सभी प्राणियों के प्रति द्रोह न करना , प्राणीमात्र के प्रति वैर त्याग अर्थात् सबसे प्रीति करना ही अहिंसक व्रत हैं। ) हम सभी लोग चरित्र एवम् ज्ञान से सम्पन्न विद्वज्जन परमात्मा से संगति कर सदा सुख प्राप्त करें।

Oh God!
May we always follow the path of universal welfare just like the sun and the moon.

Pray for a world where wealth and knowledge is shared than monopolised ; where serving and helping people is a way of life ; where non-violence is practiced ; where enmity and prejudice are not harboured ; where everyone is respectful towards everyone else, be it living or non living.  (In all respects, and at all times, not harming any living being, and having love and compassion towards all creatures is the essence of non-violence.)

May we associate ourselves with the God through knowledge
and  moral conduct and  thus attain bliss  and happiness .
